The Business Office handles a number of important functions in the daily operations of the Criminal District Attorney’s Office. The two most important functions are budget management and personnel record keeping.

Like all Tarrant County offices, the Criminal District Attorney’s Office is funded by our tax dollars. We make every effort to ensure that those funds are strictly budgeted. It is the responsibility of the Business Office to monitor and approve payment of expenditures from this budgeted amount, working closely with other county departments.

The Business Office maintains all personnel records for the District Attorney’s Office, processing newly hired employees and reporting changes in employee status to the County Human Resources and County Auditor’s offices.

The current staff includes a business manager, witness coordinator, administrative assistant and a general office clerk.
