• A jury in Judge Robb Catalano’s Criminal District Court No. 3 deliberated about 3 ½ hours on Wednesday before convicting Tiffany Lynn Lewis of falsely holding oneself out as a lawyer. Lewis, 46, a former attorney who was disbarred in 2005, posed as a practicing attorney last year and accepted payment from a woman in need of legal help. The jury is now hearing testimony to determine her punishment. Assistant District Attorneys Lori Burks, Tiffany Burks and Zena McNulty are prosecuting the case. Lewis is being defended by Leon Haley and Terry Barlow.
